These pictures of Maggie taken on May 29th are of a completely different dog -- can you just believe how good she looks? The coat is so plush and full and appears soft and healthy. I thought I'd focus this update on her mental state as this is also important in her recovery... | | | | Left side, Maggie April 7th | Left side, Maggie May 29th |
Maggie is a very happy-go-lucky dog with a happy disposition, and it appears she's actually feeling much better because she seems to have more energy and a spring in her step. One of the volunteers takes her to a creek nearby and she seems to enjoy wading in the water. Even so, Lynne (from the Humane Society) feels Maggie has bouts of feeling a bit grumpy and out of sorts. Lynne gets a sort of contemplative vibe from her, like a "well........now what?" sort of feel and finds that she is getting a bit over attached to her kennel and often prefers to just lie on the cement in the sun, dozing. Maggie no longer pulls away when her feet are touched. She is also calmer and has less 'hidden' fear. We will continue to work with her both vibrationally and herbally until we have her 100% or she finds a new home. | | | | Maggie on March 17th | Maggie on April 14th |
Her physical state seems excellent. Pictures here show remarkable hair regrowth, compare these photos taken May 29th with previous photos. Does this girl look like the same girl that came into the Northumberland Humane Society on March 7th??
